Discover one of the most beautiful winter landscapes in Finnish Lapland on this small-group day trip (max 8 guests) from Rovaniemi to Riisitunturi National Park, famous for its snow-crowned "tykky" trees. After pickup from your accommodation, enjoy a scenic drive through the Lapland countryside. Your local guide then leads a relaxed 4-6 km hike through silent snowy forests and up to open fell areas with panoramic views over frozen lakes and hills. Stop often for photos while your guide shares stories about Arctic nature, wildlife and Finnish traditions. Warm up by the campfire with a traditional Finnish BBQ lunch and hot drinks before returning to Rovaniemi. The tour is personally guided by the owners of a small local company, with no outsourced guides.

1Riisitunturi National Park
After a scenic drive of about 2 h 15 min from Rovaniemi, enjoy a guided winter hike of about 4-6 km through the snowy forests and fell areas of Riisitunturi National Park, famous for its crown-snow-loaded "tykky" trees. Enjoy panoramic views, photo stops with help from your guide, stories about Lapland nature and wildlife, and a campfire BBQ lunch with hot drinks in the wilderness. The return drive to Rovaniemi also takes about 2 h 15 min.

- Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
- Not suitable for children under 5 years
- Warm winter clothing (thermal overall, boots, gloves) can be rented for an extra fee if needed. Please contact us separately to arrange it.
- This tour includes a guided hike of about 4-6 km on snowy forest trails with uphill sections. It is not suitable for wheelchairs, mobility scooters or walkers, and travelers should be able to walk independently in winter conditions.
