Before absorbing the energy of the archaeological site, a private tour at the on-site museum awaits to deepen your understanding. Here, you’ll come face-to-face with artifacts discovered on the hill—ceramics, sculptures, and explanations of the different cultural layers, from Pre-Classic to Aztec times. Interactive displays and models help visualize the ceremony, making the ancient world tangible.
We walk to the top of the Hill of the Star towards the pyramid and archeological site. Once there you will discover why this tour is more than a history lesson; it’s an experience. The panoramic view from the summit is breathtaking, offering a unique perspective of the sprawling Mexico City valley, allowing you to visually trace the geography of the ancient city and understand the strategic and spiritual significance of this hill. The tour involves a 60-90 minute walk to the top of the Cerro de la Estrella. The path is not very steep, paved and in good condition, however the up-hill walk involves a level of physical effort that might not be suited for everyone, specially people with medical conditions, mobility issues or small children. If walking is not your thing you can still join us for the private guided museum part of the tour! Clothing: Comfortable clothing and footwear is recommended. Bring something to protect you from the sun!
We make the same way back to our meeting point at Palacio de Bellas Artes. All ticket fares included.
