Enjoy a scenic ride on the Tango Railway along its stunning coastal route. Cross the famous Yuragawa Railway Bridge, often called the “railway over the sea,” appearing to glide over the ocean like a scene from an anime.
At Amanohashidate, one of Japan’s Three Scenic Views, take in panoramic vistas of the sandbar lined with thousands of pine trees from Amanohashidate View Land. Don’t miss the playful tradition of viewing it upside down between your legs—said to resemble a “bridge to heaven.”
Relax on a sightseeing boat cruise in Ine Bay, feed the circling seagulls, and admire the picturesque Funaya boathouses along the coast and the crystal-clear waters known as “Ine Blue.”

Free Exploration Time Enjoy ample free time to explore the Amanohashidate area at your own pace. Head up to the mountaintop observation deck for a panoramic view of the famous sandbar stretching across Miyazu Bay, lined with more than 8,000 pine trees. Try the fun and unique Matanozoki viewing method—bend forward and look at the scenery upside down through your legs. The sandbar will appear like a “bridge to the sky,” creating a memorable and playful photo moment. Stroll along the scenic pathways, feel the sea breeze, and take in one of Japan’s most celebrated landscapes. You can also visit Chion-ji Temple, home to Manjushri Bodhisattva, where many students and scholars come to pray for wisdom and academic success. Alternatively, browse the charming shopping streets for local souvenirs or enjoy a delicious regional specialty lunch.

Travelers can take the Ine Bay sightseeing cruise for a close-up view of the traditional Funaya boathouses from the sea. Enjoy feeding flocks of seabirds from the boat and relax on a comfortable 25-minute cruise while taking in the seasonal coastal scenery. If you prefer to stay on land, you can enjoy a leisurely stroll nearby and admire the picturesque Funaya lining the waterfront.

The guide has the right to adjust or cancel parts of the itinerary on site, and such changes do not qualify for refunds. Delays caused by traffic congestion are beyond our control, and the company will not bear any resulting additional expenses.
- 【Seat Requests】 We will do our best to accommodate requests. However, as this is a shared tour, seating is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note any special requests in advance; final arrangements are subject to on-site coordination by the guide.
- 【Seasonal & Limited-Time Activities】 Activities such as cherry blossoms, autumn leaves, special flower seasons, illuminations, fireworks festivals, snow scenery, hot springs, and seasonal events are highly dependent on weather and other force majeure factors.
