The Summer Palace is located in Haidian District, northwest of Beijing. It is the most well preserved and largest royal garden in China, and also one of the world's famous tourist attractions. The Summer Palace was originally the imperial palace and garden. The Summer Palace covers an area of 290 hectares (4350 acres), of which water accounts for about 3/4. The entire garden is centered around the 41 meter high Buddha Fragrance Pavilion on Wanshou Mountain, and is equipped with exquisite buildings such as halls, halls, towers, pavilions, galleries, and pavilions according to different locations and terrains.
