  Forbidden City-The Palace Museum

  Walk directly into the Forbidden City,Formerly known as the "Forbidden City", It took one million craftsmen and laborers 14 years to complete the construction in 1420AD. it covers an area of 720,000 square meters, with more than 70 palaces and over 9,000 rooms. It is the largest and best-preserved ancient wooden structure complex in the world. From 1420 AD to 1912 AD , a total of 24 emperors resided here. In 1925, it was officially renamed the "Palace Museum".

  Hall of Great Harmony (Taihe Dian)

  the first among the three main halls of the Forbidden City. It is also known colloquially as the "Golden Throne Hall". As the largest and most prestigious building in the Forbidden City, the Taihe Dian has witnessed significant events in the Ming and Qing dynasties, including the ascension to the throne, royal weddings, the enfeoffment of empresses, and other grand ceremonies of 24 emperors. It stands as a symbol of the supreme imperial power.

  Palace of Heavenly Purity

  Qianqing Gong (Palace of Heavenly Purity), the core building in the Inner Court of the Forbidden City. If the Taihe Dian (Hall of Supreme Harmony) is the "imperial court" where emperors handled national grand ceremonies, the Qianqing Gong served as the "bedroom and daily administrative center" for emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties. It has witnessed the privacy and vicissitudes amid numerous imperial power transitions, and stands as a symbol of imperial authority embodying the concept that "the Son of Heaven resides in his rightful place, and all the stars pay homage to him."

  The Imperial Garden of The Palace Museum

  Imperial Garden, also known as the "Back Garden" of the Forbidden City. As the concluding part of the Forbidden City, it leans against the Shenwu Gate to the north and connects to the Qianqing Palace to the south. It served as a private space for emperors and imperial concubines of the Ming and Qing dynasties to relax, entertain themselves, worship Buddha, and pray for blessings. Meanwhile, it is a unique part of the entire Forbidden City complex that combines natural charm with imperial grandeur. From the majestic imperial court to the elegant garden, the Imperial Garden adds a touch of vitality to the magnificent Forbidden City and has witnessed the daily life of royal family members when they laid down their imperial dignity.
