2Jinshanling Great Wall
The city walls and watchtowers of Jinshanling Great Wall preserve numerous traces of history. The mottled bricks and stones bear ancient arrow marks, and the broken walls and dilapidated ramparts exude a relief-like texture. You can also find inscribed bricks carved with characters such as "Left Battalion", "Right Battalion" and "Made by the Right Battalion of Zhenwu Garrison in the 6th year of Wanli Reign", as if having a dialogue with the craftsmen who lived 600 years ago. Hikers can use the gateways and arrow windows of the watchtowers as frames, and shoot the extending lines of the city walls from a low angle to enhance visual impact and capture highly aesthetic photos.
