This isn’t your typical pub crawl - it’s a walking holiday adventure through the holiday classic 'A Christmas Carol'! Guided by Asheville's premier Dickensian host, Nigel Humbuggins, you’ll visit four of the city’s renowned South Slope pubs to enjoy legendary local brews, all while experiencing one of the greatest Christmas stories ever told. Along the way, your host keeps the energy high with playful antics and audience interactions - yet pauses to deliver moments of transcendent acting from Dickens’ most poignant passages, giving the tale its full emotional power.

“The Ghost of Christmas Past” - Sip festive Urban Orchard ciders while Scrooge awkwardly revisits his bittersweet past: lost loves, missed chances, and that first spark of redemption. Think of it as a Victorian therapy session… with alcohol.

“The Ghost of Christmas Present” - Raise your glass of Funkatorium's funky sours or barrel-aged beers to shenanigans & holiday cheer. Humbuggins will conjure the Cratchits, Tiny Tim, and just enough holiday generosity to make you consider buying the next round… briefly.

“The Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come” - Finish your crawl with this Spirit looming over your 1920’s apothecary-style craft cocktails. Fate, shadows, and hauntingly delicious brews collide, sending the story to its thrilling conclusion, and leaving you wondering if ghosts prefer IPAs.
