This snowshoeing tour takes you beyond the usual routes, into the quiet and untouched landscapes of Ylläs. We move through remote forests and open fells, where the silence and vastness of Lapland truly come to life.

During this snowshoeing tour on Kesänki Fell, you follow gentle winter terrain through snow-covered forests before gradually ascending into more open landscapes. As you gain elevation, the scenery expands, revealing the vast fells and frozen valleys of the Ylläs region. At the summit, you take time to enjoy the panoramic views and the silence of the surrounding Arctic wilderness. We also make a stop in a traditional kota, where we light a fire and enjoy a warm drink and light lunch in the middle of the forest. On the way back, we leave the main tracks behind and move through deeper snow and untouched terrain, before returning through peaceful forest paths. The experience offers a calm and immersive way to discover the natural beauty of Lapland.
