This tour takes you from the iconic Moulin Rouge down by the Place du Chatelet in the historic Marais district, covering some of the most iconic characters from literature and musicals as well as a few of our beautiful theatres and their history.
You'll hear about the absurd play that inspired the surrealists, America's favorite fighting Frenchman, some strange occurrences in the Palais Garnier and a relentless Police Inspector's last sighting and more!
We will be meeting by the bus stop. I’ll be holding the cane visible in the pictures, so look out for that!
Your last stop and end point is the Pont Notre-Dame, right by the Marais on one side and the cathedral on the other.
Our first stop is at the bottom of Montmartre. You’ll hear about the history of this iconic district, the no less iconic Moulin rouge, the cultural revolution it represented and that inspired Baz Luhrmann’s film and the subsequent musical. My Pitch Song, if you will!
The Theatre Mogador is undoubtedly the closest Parisian theatre to a West End or Broadway venue. You’ll hear why, as well as about its unique history and links to both England and America.

We’ll head down the beautiful Avenue de l’Opera, where you’ll hear about its history and the rumors that inspired a story known around the world. The Point of No Return - only sans the threat!

Our penultimate stop takes us by two of Paris’ largest theatres, one of which is dedicated to musicals! More on that, France’s most famous actrice, and a relentless character’s final written words. "Who is this man-"?
Our character meets a tragic end, and our tour a happier one. I leave you with one of this city’s most beautiful landscapes, and hopefully some cheerful memories! "So long, Farewell."
