Here is our first Loch of the day and they do not get much more unique than Lubnaig. A great photo opportunity whatever the weather !
A few hidden gems here, not to give too much away however we will see the famous kirkyard and viewpoint here. A truly historical location.
Scotland in a village ! Yes - that is exactly how I would summarise this absolute gem of a place. We will spend some time here as It would be criminal not to immerse here. Enjoy the local pub, gift shop, falls and wander around this charming village surrounded by the mountains, to the smell of log fires burning in the surrounding homes and the white water of the river which flows throughout the heart of Killin.
Enjoy this scenic route as we ascend through a mountain pass with many stunning Lochs, Forrest's and of course amazing short walks and photo opportunities.
One of the oldest inns in the UK if not the oldest. An old haunt for drovers of the past having opened in 1705. Not much has changed ! Well worth a quick pit stop.
Enjoy stretching your legs in one of Scotlands most scenic small towns. Enjoy the local gift shops, Cafes and Coffee shops. There are many historical trails and sites here, which I will determine based on your personalities.
