This program offers a unique opportunity to wear authentic armor and march through Kyoto like a legendary warlord. This all-in-one experience includes creating a personalized calligraphy war fan, professional armor fitting, and tasting premium G7 Summit matcha. You will then head to the Sanjo Riverbank for a samurai march and photoshoot, leaving with vivid memories and special souvenirs.

What to expect

KYOTO SAMURAI WALK offers a unique experience where you don authentic armor and march through the historic streets of Kyoto like a legendary warlord. This all-in-one tour includes calligraphy, a tea ceremony, and an outdoor samurai march.

The Experience Flow
1. Calligraphy Session
Create your own unique "Gun-sen" (Samurai war fan). Write your name or a favorite phrase in Kanji.

2. Authentic Armor Fitting
Our expert staff will select and professionally fit you with high-quality armor tailored to your size.

3. Matcha Experience
Enjoy premium "Katana" matcha (served at the G7 Summit) in a stunning hall surrounded by 20 authentic suits of armor.

4. The Samurai March (Shutjin)
Raise a traditional battle cry with the group and march toward the Sanjo Riverbank. Experience the thrill of walking through Kyoto in full gear.

5. Photoshoot
Capture the moment with group and individual photos against the beautiful Kamo River.
