    The tour to the Devil's Throat (Catarpe Valley) offers a visual trip to the geological heart of San Pedro de Atacama. As you enter this canyon, the first thing that strikes is the chromatic contrast: vertical walls of intense red clay that rise into a sky of deep, clean blue. The Salt Range formations reveal bright textures of salt crystals lining the rocks, creating a "snow in the desert" effect. The road is a winding labyrinth where silence is absolute, interrupted only by the crackle of the terrain.
