Explore the stunning Arizona desert on horseback with Tattered Saddle, just a short distance from Tucson. What better way to experience some of Tucson’s beautiful winter sunsets than from the back of a horse? Come experience saguaros, mountains, and sunsets without even leaving town!

What's Included

1 Hour, guided, walk-only horseback trail ride
Full-length rain slickers, if necessary
Mandatory helmets for riders under the age of 18, and helmets available for all riders as requested
Use of saddlebags to bring your water bottle, phone, and other small items onto the trail with you.
Always optional. Gratuities are not included, but are greatly appreciated!

Meeting and pickup

Meeting point

Tattered Saddle's office is located next to the large horse corral on your first available right when coming from Oracle Road. When traveling from the Hotels main entrance we are the first available left on E El Conquistador Way. Half way down to the tennis courts on the left hand side.

What to expect

Your experienced wranglers will match your experience level to the right horse for you and help each rider onto their steed! Wranglers will explain how to ride and control the horse, making sure that each participant feels comfortable before heading out as a group on a 1 Hour long trail ride.

This 1 Hour trail ride is a walk-only ride timed to give the guests the opportunity to watch the evening sky turn red, orange, purple or pink as the sun sets over the Arizona Skyline.

DISCLAIMER: Although your sunsets are usually quite colorful, the employees here at Tattered Saddle do not command the skies and therefore can make no absolute guarantees on behalf of the clouds as to what they will look like on the evening of your ride.
