What's Included
Meeting and pickup
The meeting point will be in the Plaza de los Fueros, under the gate of the Serranos towers.
·Our last stop will be at the Market Square, where we'll take the opportunity to explore the Valencian commercial district dating back to Muslim times, surrounded by the Silk Market, the Central Market (the largest European fresh produce market), and the Parish Church of Santos Juanes.

Here I will provide an introduction to Spain, Valencia, the city walls, and the role of the towers within the context of the city.

2Placa de la Mare de Deu
We will talk about Las Fallas, the most important festival in the city, and the Water Tribunal, the oldest court in Europe—both recognized as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage. We will also explain the Basilica, walk around the entire Cathedral, and see part of the remains of the original city from the Roman Empire period.

3Placa de la Reina
We will cross Plaza de la Reina towards Plaza Redonda, where I will explain the parts of the Cathedral that face this side, as well as the Church of Saint Catherine.

4Plaza Redonda
We will talk about the geographical and cultural importance of this square, as well as enjoy the exterior view of what was once the narrowest house in Europe.

5Plaza del Mercado (Placa del Mercat)
The historic commercial center of the city, where we will see and explain the exteriors of the Church of Santos Juanes, the Central Market, and the only building in Valencia that is recognized as UNESCO World Heritage: the Silk Exchange (La Lonja de la Seda).
