    Asenema Waterfall (sometimes spelled Assema Waterfall) is one of the Eastern Region of Ghana’s hidden natural attractions. Located near Akropong in the Akuapem Hills, it is about a 1.5-hour drive from Accra, making it an ideal day-trip destination. A peaceful waterfall surrounded by lush tropical forest. * An easy 5-minute walk from the roadside to the falls. * Perfect for nature photography and relaxation. * A shallow pool where visitors can cool off. * Scenic drive through the beautiful Akuapem Hills. Best time to visit The waterfall is at its most spectacular during the rainy season (April–July) when the water flow is strongest.
