This isn't just a whale watching boat ride — there's a marine biologist on board every trip to help you understand what you're seeing in real time. Learn about whale behavior, from why mothers stay close to their calves to why whales breach and how they travel to Banderas Bay.

The experience is easy and relaxed. Depending on your departure time, enjoy breakfast or lunch, snacks, soft drinks, and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages — all included.

When conditions and equipment availability allow, listen to whale songs underwater through the onboard hydrophone.

You may also spot dolphins, sea turtles, and manta rays along the way.

What to expect

Set out on a 4-hour whale watching adventure through the beautiful waters of Banderas Bay with a marine biologist on board.

This is more than simply searching for whales. Throughout the experience, your marine biologist will help you understand the behavior and natural environment of humpback whales and the other marine life you may encounter.

As you explore the bay, keep your eyes open for whales, dolphins, sea turtles and manta rays. When conditions and equipment availability allow, you may also listen to whale songs through an onboard hydrophone.

Depending on your departure time, enjoy a continental breakfast or lunch on board, along with snacks, soft drinks and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages from the open bar.

The experience is offered in English and Spanish and is limited to a maximum of 30 travelers.

Please note that wildlife sightings are not guaranteed, as the animals are wild and their presence and behavior cannot be predicted.
