We’ll kick off the experience by meeting at Shinjuku Station. Your guide will provide a brief orientation of the tour and introduce you to the unique history of the area. Once briefed, we will head straight into Shinjuku Kabukicho. You’ll explore the vibrant streets of Shinjuku's premier nightlife district, where your guide will lead you past the famous landmarks and secret spots that most tourists miss. It’s the perfect way to navigate this high-energy neighborhood with confidence and local insight.
From there, we’ll make your way into the heart of Kabukicho, Japan’s most famous entertainment district. Known as the "Sleepless Town," this area is a dazzling labyrinth of towering neon signs, hidden local gems, and a history as colorful as its lights. Whether it’s the legendary Godzilla looming overhead or the narrow, atmospheric alleys, you’ll discover the true spirit of Tokyo’s nightlife through the eyes of a local.
Start your night in the heart of Tokyo’s nightlife — Shinjuku Golden Gai — with a casual drink to break the ice. Tucked away in narrow alleys, Golden Gai is a historic bar district known for its unique charm and over 200 tiny bars packed into just a few blocks. Each bar has its own personality — from retro-themed spots to cozy locals-only hangouts — creating an atmosphere you simply can’t find anywhere else in Tokyo. Your experience begins here with a friendly toast, giving everyone a chance to relax, connect, and get into the rhythm of the night. It’s the perfect way to ease into Tokyo’s nightlife while learning the stories, culture, and hidden rules of Golden Gai from your local guide. This first stop isn’t just about drinks — it’s about stepping into a piece of Tokyo’s living history and setting the tone for an unforgettable night ahead.
Next, we take a short walk through Shinjuku’s neon-lit streets to a local DJ bar — a hidden side of Tokyo’s nightlife that most visitors never discover. Unlike large nightclubs, DJ bars in Tokyo offer a more intimate and relaxed atmosphere, where music takes center stage without the overwhelming crowds. Here, you can enjoy everything from hip-hop and house to disco and throwback hits — a true reflection of Tokyo’s diverse and ever-evolving music scene. Grab a drink, settle in, and let the music guide the night. Whether you're chatting with your guide, connecting with other guests, or simply soaking in the vibe, this stop is all about enjoying great music in a casual, welcoming setting.
Finally, we head to a larger nightclub to experience the high-energy side of Tokyo’s nightlife — with skip-the-line access so you can dive straight into the action. Depending on the night’s events and crowd, your guide will choose the best club in either Shinjuku or Shibuya — always selecting a lively, local-favorite venue filled with great music and an electric atmosphere. Your guide will navigate everything, so you can simply enjoy the moment without worrying about lines, entry systems, or language barriers. Toward the end of the night, you’re free to stay longer at LEVELS, continue on to a secret after-party spot, or wrap up near Shinjuku Kabukicho or get back to your hotel.
