Join a boat snorkel tour in Cozumel and explore some of the island’s most beautiful marine areas: Columbia Reef, Palancar Reef, El Cielo, and El Cielito Beach. This experience is designed for travelers who want to enjoy clear Caribbean waters, reef scenery, tropical fish, and shallow sandbanks in one well-rounded ocean adventure.
The route begins at Columbia Reef, known for its deeper coral formations and rich marine life, then continues to Palancar Reef, one of Cozumel’s most recognized snorkeling areas. After the reef stops, the tour moves to El Cielo, a crystal-clear sandbank famous for starfish resting on the seabed, followed by El Cielito Beach, a shallow turquoise area where rays may be seen gliding through the water.
During the tour, travelers can enjoy a light snack that includes fish ceviche, guacamole with tortilla chips, seasonal fruit, and two complimentary drinks per person.

Meeting and pickup
Your adventure begins at the famous Anchor/Ancla located right outside the Cozumel maritime ferry terminal, in the center of the city. Your guide will be waiting for you 15 minutes before the tour start time. The guides will be there up to 10 minutes after the time to wait for all participants.

Travelers will begin the experience by checking in with the team at the meeting point in Cozumel. Check-in is done before the selected departure time, and after meeting the crew, the group will walk just a few steps to the pier where the boat will be waiting. 1Palancar Reef
The first snorkeling stop takes travelers to Palancar Reef, one of Cozumel’s most recognized reef areas. Here, guests can use the included snorkeling equipment and enter the clear Caribbean water to enjoy the reef scenery and marine environment. This stop introduces the underwater side of Cozumel, with beautiful water, tropical surroundings, and the excitement of beginning the snorkeling route.

2Columbia Reef
The adventure continues at Columbia Reef, another important marine area in Cozumel. Travelers will have another opportunity to snorkel, admire the underwater landscape, and enjoy the natural beauty that makes the island a favorite destination for ocean lovers. This second reef stop adds more variety to the experience before the route continues toward the shallow turquoise waters of El Cielo.
