What to expect

Begin your journey into Japanese cuisine and culture with a hands-on sushi-making experience. Under the guidance of a sushi master, you’ll prepare 12 pieces of nigiri sushi, learning proper techniques.

Once your sushi is complete, sit down to enjoy your creations paired with carefully selected sake. If you prefer a non-alcoholic option, a variety of authentic Japanese teas will be prepared for instead.

Next, experience traditional Japanese grilling as you cook fresh fish over a charcoal barbecue, enhancing its natural flavors. This course is served alongside a comforting miso soup, completing a classic Japanese course meal.

Following the sushi experience, go upstairs for a traditional Japanese tea ceremony, where you’ll discover the rituals, etiquette, and philosophy behind.

Watch a demonstration of a traditional Japanese tea ceremony (chanoyu) and learn about the history, meaning, and etiquette behind the movement. Prepare your own matcha tea, guided by the host, and enjoy it with traditional Japanese sweets.
