Set high in the mountains, this “city in the clouds” impresses visitors with monumental architecture, dramatic views, and a fascinating history shaped by the Pisidian civilisation and later Roman influence. The transformation of Sagalassos from a forgotten mountain city into a globally recognised archaeological treasure began in 1986, when Prof. Marc Waelkens of KU Leuven (Belgium)
After exploring the ruins, the experience slows down at Karacaören Lake. Enjoy a relaxing lakeside lunch surrounded by forested hills before boarding an eco-powered catamaran cruise.
