We started the tour in Plaza Baquedano, also known as Plaza Italia, one of the most important and symbolic points of Santiago. This place marks the transition between the historic center and the modern areas of the city. Here the guide will give a brief introduction on the urban history of Santiago, its social development and its current daily life.
We will climb on the historic funicular of Cerro San Cristobal, a classic experience of the city. From the top, we will enjoy one of the best panoramic views of Santiago, with the Andes Mountains as a backdrop. We will have time to walk through the viewpoint, take photographs and know the natural and symbolic importance of this hill inside the Metropolitan Park.
We will visit La Chascona, one of the most personal and creative houses of the poet Pablo Neruda. Located in the Bellavista Quarter, this house-museum stands out for its irregular architecture, original objects and spaces full of stories about the life, love and political thought of the Chilean Nobel laureate. The tour is carried out with audio guide included.

We finish the tour with a relaxed walk through the Parque Forestal, a green space by the Mapocho River, until we reach the Barrio Lastarria.
