I am National Tour guide in addition to a gemologist. The guests will be very much welcome to request any special request / attractions in addition to Gem tour. As the title of the tour mentions also “Gem Tour to Ratnapura,” all the activities under the experience will take place within the city of “Ratnapura.”
The guests will be able to understand the entire process of producing a finished gemstone from the stage of finding a rough stone up to making a finished product after cutting and polishing. They will be able to see a great collection of different gemstone categories in rough, semi-polished, and complete stages.
This tour can be enjoyed by anyone without any age barrier or physical capacity. Whoever loves to see gemstones, gem collectors, or those who do not know the skilled expertise background involved in making a finished gemstone (as a fresh experience).
