Ready for a local adventure in Bávaro–Punta Cana?

Start at a traditional ranch in Macao, a true Dominican community. After check-in, enjoy tastings of chocolate, coffee, tea, and—if you ask—mamajuana.

Pick your ride:

-Buggy: easy to drive, muddy fun
- ATV: more technical, less messy
- Kayo: premium ride, more power and comfort

Make sure to bring a bandana and sunglasses, as trails are either dusty or muddy—and both can affect visibility while driving.

Ride through off-road trails to a hidden natural cenote in El Salado. Take a dip in crystal-clear water (You may encounter local vendors—just say “no, thank you” if you're not interested).

After the swim, we hit the trail again and head to Macao Beach, one of the most stunning beaches in the area.

Finally, we return to the ranch where you can view and purchase your tour photos and pick up local souvenirs (optional and reasonably priced).

Daily departures at 9 AM, 11 AM, and 3 PM. Spots are limited!

You can choose a pickup location at checkout (multiple pickup locations are available).
Pickup details:

Pick-up is included from all resorts in Bávaro, Punta Cana, Cap Cana, Uvero Alto, and Macao. If you are staying in an Airbnb or residential area, you may go to the security gate of the nearest hotel or to one of our meeting points. You will receive your exact pick-up time the night before your excursion. If your hotel is not on the list, contact us and we will assign a nearby meeting point. You may also arrive directly at the ranch if you prefer to come on your own. Same-day bookings are accepted and transportation is guaranteed. Reservations from Cap Cana and Punta Cana Village are only available for the 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. tour times due to distance and logistics. Pick-up generally occurs 1 hour before your tour time, and up to 1 hour and 30 minutes during high season or for distant hotels. Please be at your assigned pick-up point 10 minutes before your scheduled time. The driver will call your name three times. If you are not present, it will be considered a no-show, and no-shows are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled. Please note that depending on the season, some hotels only allow pick-up at the hotel gate (not the lobby). Cap Cana, however, is always picked up at the lobby and does not require an access pass to enter.

    We begin pickup at all Punta Cana hotels, heading towards Rancho Macao where you will have a 25-minute introduction to buggy driving. We will have 3 stops: 1- Typical House 2- Macao Beach 3- Indigenous Conote

    For 1 - Typical House Here we will show you some local products and explain the production process of tobacco, coffee, and mamajuana. You will be able to taste them. Note: Purchases of products from the typical house are not mandatory.

    For 2 - Macao Beach At this beautiful beach, you will have approximately 25 minutes to enjoy, take photos, and swim. Note: There are street vendors; purchases are not mandatory and they are not part of our company.
