We offer pick-up from hotels, guesthouses, backpackers, Airbnbs, vacation rentals, and most addresses within Cape Town’s city centre. Kindly share your exact pick-up location so we can confirm that it falls within our service area.
Please be aware that the time selected is only an approximate launch time for the shark cage diving vessel. Pick-up will take place earlier to allow enough travel time from Cape Town to Gansbaai for the safety briefing at the Great White House. Final pick-up times are confirmed the day before the tour once weather and tidal conditions have been reviewed.
We advise allowing the entire day for this experience.
What to expect
Board a purpose-built vessel and cruise across the ocean on an exhilarating 20-minute boat ride to the shark viewing area between Dyer Island and Geyser Rock, where anticipation builds as the crew prepares the cage.
Once anchored, the cage is lowered just below the surface, offering safe and easy access to the water. Over the next two hours, guests take turns entering the cage for an up-close encounter with these powerful predators, while others enjoy views from the deck. Light snacks and beverages are served on board, and professional photographers capture the experience.
After your thrilling encounter, return to shore to relax before your comfortable transfer back to your hotel, concluding an unforgettable marine adventure.
