Most Gion photo sessions follow the same pattern: stop, pose, smile, move on. This one is different — you walk through the neighborhood at a natural pace while your photographer works around you, capturing real moments instead of directing poses. No experience in front of a camera needed.
Before you arrive, your photographer messages you on WhatsApp to talk through timing, outfit, and which parts of Gion matter most to you, so the walk is built around your visit rather than a fixed script.
On the day, the route adjusts in real time for light, weather, and how busy the streets are — it works whether you're shooting solo, as a couple, with friends, or with family.
Edited photos (35+ for one guest, up to 55+ for four) arrive in your inbox within 3 days and stay downloadable online for a month.

We start near the shrine's gates, timing the first shots around whatever light and crowd conditions are that day.
