We meet at Isehara Station on the Odakyu Line and take a bus to the base of Mount Oyama. From there, enjoy a scenic six-minute cable car ride to Oyama Afuri Shrine. After visiting the shrine, we descend by cable car and stroll through the historic streets.
For lunch, enjoy a bowl of ramen at a charming restaurant renovated from a former pilgrim’s lodging.
In the afternoon, we travel by bus to Hinata Yakushi Temple, a peaceful forest sanctuary with over 1,200 years of history. Inside, you’ll see remarkable Buddhist statues designated as Important Cultural Properties of Japan, reflecting the region’s deep spiritual roots.
We then return to Isehara Station by bus, concluding the tour with lasting memories of Kanagawa’s spiritual heritage and natural beauty.

We will walk around the power spots located within the grounds of Oyama Afuri Shrine (Lower Shrine) together with your guide. During the tour, you will learn about the traditions and culture that have been passed down and continue to live on in modern Japan.
We visit one of Japan's most revered Yakushi (Medicine Buddha) Temple which has been worshipped by people for centuries. Numerous variable Buddhist sculptures remain on site, including wooden statue of Yakushi and his attendants.
