Cruise to the home port of the legendary D/S Hestmanden, the only remaining Norwegian cargo ship to have survived both World War I and World War II. Get a fantastic close-up view of "The Lucky Ship" while we share some historic fun facts about the ship from 1911. Note: On the rare occasions the ship is sailing to a festival, you will still hear about its story as you pass its historic docks.

We are located in Kristiansand between the historic Christiansholm Fortress and Strandpromenaden 14, close to the Camilla Collett statue. If you walk along the waterfront promenade, you will see the statue and our boat at the pier.

    We will cruise past the historic Christiansholm Fortress, built in 1672. You will get a great view of this iconic landmark from the water while learning about its fascinating history in protecting the city.
