Marrakech Departure from Marrakech, the vibrant Red City, known for its historic medina, lively souks and rich cultural heritage. Tizi n’Tichka Pass Crossing the High Atlas through the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m), with spectacular panoramic views of traditional Berber mountains and villages. Kasbah by Ait Ben Haddou Visit to the UNESCO World Heritage Site kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, an impressive adobe fortress and ancient key point of caravan routes. Ouarzazate Continue to Ouarzazate, known as the Sahara Gate, with a brief stop outside at the historic Kasbah de Taourirt. Valley of the Roses Tour of the picturesque Rose Valley, famous for its palm groves, kasbahs and rose fields used for rosewater production. 2Merzouga
Valley of Dades After breakfast, leave from the Dades Valley, surrounded by stunning rock formations and green oases along the Dades River. Todra throats Continue to the Todra Gorges, a spectacular canyon of limestone walls that reach up to 300 meters high. Free time to walk and enjoy the natural environment. Erfoud Tour of desert towns until you reach Erfoud, known for its fossil workshops and considered a gateway to the Sahara. Merzouga Desert (Erg Chebbi) Arrival in Merzouga, home to the majestic dunes of Erg Chebbi. Camel ride at sunset through the dunes to reach the camp in the desert. Merzouga Desert Wake up early to enjoy a magical sunrise over the dunes of Erg Chebbi, followed by breakfast at the camp. Merzouga After breakfast, leave from Merzouga leaving the Sahara behind and heading north towards the Middle Atlas Mountains. Valle del Ziz Tour of the fertile Ziz Valley, famous for its extensive palm groves, oasis landscapes and panoramic viewpoints along the Ziz River. Midelt Stop in Midelt, a mountain town located between the Middle and High Atlas, for a lunch break and a short break. Azrou Continue through the cedar forests of Azrou, home to the Barbary macaque monkeys, with time to stop and take pictures. Ifrane I pass through Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco”, famous for its Alpine-style architecture, clean streets and cool climate. Fez Arrival in Fez in the afternoon or evening. Transfer to your hotel or riad, marking the end of your desert tour.
