The adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel, riad, or guesthouse in Merzouga. After safely parking your car at the hotel, you are escorted to the departure point for your camel trek. The journey into the Erg Chebbi dunes lasts approximately 2 hours, with each camel guided carefully across the golden sand. As you walk along the dunes, the guide shares insights about the desert ecosystem, local wildlife, and Berber culture. Midway through the trek, a stop is made at a small desert oasis, a hidden gem of serenity where travelers can rest and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. As the afternoon progresses, the group reaches the private luxury camp, where tents are carefully prepared for comfort and privacy. The evening is highlighted by watching the sunset over the sand dunes from the camp, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the Sahara. Afterward, Moroccan tea is served around the campfire, followed by a gourmet dinner prepared with local ingredients.
