Your experience begins with an introduction to the elephants and the hill tribe caretakers who look after them. Learn how elephants retired from tourism are rehabilitated and cared for through proper nutrition, enrichment, and daily routines. Walk along a shaded forest path as you observe the elephants roaming, foraging, and interacting naturally in their habitat. Your guide will explain their behavior, body language, and the special bond between mahouts and their elephants. Caretakers will demonstrate how natural foods such as banana trees and fresh grasses are prepared for the elephants while explaining their diet and wellbeing. Throughout the visit, guests observe from a safe and respectful distance—there is no riding, bathing, feeding, or touching—ensuring the elephants remain relaxed and free to behave naturally.
