Skip the crowded tourist trails. Saddle up at the historic Mar del Plata Polo Club, learn the secrets of the Argentine gaucho, and ride through open parkland straight to the Atlantic Ocean.

Feel the wind as you ride along the beach, then do something few travelers ever get to do: swim with your horse in the sea (weather permitting).

Finish with mate, Argentina’s beloved tradition, shared like a local. No experience needed, just a sense of adventure.

What to expect

Start your adventure at the historic Mar del Plata Polo Club in Parque Camet, where our team welcomes you and pairs you with a calm, well-trained horse that fits your riding level.

Begin with the Petisero Experience: learn how Argentine horsemen care for their horses, help groom and saddle your horse, and get to know it before you ride.

Then set out on a two-hour guided ride through the park’s green trails and down to the Atlantic coast. Ride along the shoreline with the sea breeze and the sound of the waves, stopping for photos along the way. Weather permitting, end the ride with a highlight few places offer: riding your horse into the ocean for a swim together.

Back at the club, relax with a traditional Argentine mate ceremony and a snack, and share stories with your fellow riders.

No experience needed. Beginners and experienced riders are welcome, and expert guides stay with you the whole way.
