Meeting and pickup
Drive through the narrow driveway into the village of Poggio San Polo, then continue along the gravel road down to the winery. There is parking right before the winery's gate.
What to expect
Your experience begins with a warm welcome and a guided visit of the winery and production areas, where you’ll learn how Poggio San Polo’s wines are crafted—from vineyard to bottle. You’ll explore the cellar where the wines rest and mature in oak barrels, gaining insight into the estate’s organic philosophy, winemaking techniques, and the distinctive terroir of Gaiole in Chianti.
Following the visit, enjoy a guided wine tasting featuring a selection of Poggio San Polo wines, carefully explained by a knowledgeable host. The tasting is paired with local Tuscan products selected to highlight the character of each wine, and you’ll also have the opportunity to sample the estate’s olive oil.
The experience concludes with free time to visit the wine shop, where you can purchase your favourite wines and local products and take a taste of Chianti home with you.
