We will pick you up at your hotel or house, with our vehicle ready for your experience, 5 minutes before starting the tour. From that moment the adventure begins: the warmth of Oaxaca accompanies you as we head to discover three cultural treasures. Imagine entering a family home where the wooden loom resonates like a beating heart. You see how the wool is transformed with natural dyes: the cochineal turns deep red, the indigo turns deep blue. Craftsmen show you Zapotec symbols that narrate mountains, suns and roads. You sit next to them, listen to their stories and feel that each mat holds a piece of Oaxaca. In the end, you can directly acquire these unique pieces, supporting the family and taking an authentic memory that will light up your home.

After the first visit, we headed to a family home where time seems to stand still. You will learn how chocolate is made as in ancient times. The aroma of roasted cocoa envelops you from the first moment, waking your palate and preparing your senses for a unique experience. You’ll learn about pre-Hispanic cooking tools, such as stone metate, and see cocoa grind and mix with spices that have accompanied rituals and celebrations for centuries. You will participate in the demonstration, feeling the texture and warmth of a process that connects directly to the history of Oaxaca. The experience culminates with a tasting of traditional chocolate and homemade mole, intense flavors that caress the palate and transmit the cultural richness of the region. And if you fall in love with these flavors, you will have the opportunity to directly buy chocolate and mole prepared by the host family, taking a piece of Oaxaca to share at home.
