Set against the serene backdrop of Ukumehame Valley, also known as Thousand Peaks, these 90-minute sessions are designed for ages 5 and up, ensuring personalized attention from world-class coaches. Each lesson begins with essential water safety and surfing fundamentals, followed by hands-on instruction in a supportive environment. What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Our meeting spot is Ukumehame, a beautiful stretch of beach on Maui's southwest side, off Hi-30 between mile markers 12 and 12.5. We’ll be parked in the sand 100 yards west of the paved Ukumehame Park parking lot. Text us after you book for a pin to our parking spot and pic of our car.
What to expect
Our friendly instructors teach water safety, wave etiquette, and reef awareness. Students will learn essential fundamentals, including efficient paddling techniques, how to pop up, set their stance, maintain proper form, turn smoothly, and safely dismount to a seated position at the end of their ride.
With guidance on selecting the right waves and skillful push-ins from your coach, you’ll be up and riding in no time. It doesn’t matter if you’re 5 or 75—this is your chance to learn!
