Gather your friends and loved ones for a private surf lesson tailored for families at the stunning Ukumehame Beach, renowned for its gentle waves and breath taking scenery. Under the guidance of a skilled instructor, your group of 3 or 4 will learn essential surfing techniques such as wave selection, crowd etiquette, reef awareness, paddling, popping up, a functional stance, smooth turning and sitting dismounts, all while enjoying a supportive and fun environment. Every family member, from ages 5 and up, can participate and gain confidence on the water. All necessary surf gear is included, ensuring a seamless experience. Capture your memorable moments with optional water photography to cherish your family surfing adventure. * Kids under the age of 10 will need additional coaching support - additional coach fee applies.

What's Included

We provide new soft NSP surfboards, longsleeve rashguards and rubber booties for your feet.
We do not provide sunscreen, swimsuits or towels.

Meeting and pickup

Meeting point

Our meeting spot is Ukumehame Beach, A.K.A "Thousand Peaks". This is located on the south west side of Maui directly off Hi-30 between mile markers "12" and "12.5". The beach is a quarter mile long, so we will drop you a text and pin the day of your lesson as to our exact parking spot.

What to expect

This is a private class for your group of 3 or 4 people, taught by one instructor. We will select the best spot on the beach to match your group’s ability level, and all equipment will be provided. Your world-class coaches will assess where you are and what you need to make you more confident, more skilled, or just get you all safely started on your first day. Your goal is to make this surf lesson a highlight experience!

*Kids under age 10 will need their own private designated coach added to the class. The additional coach fee is $100.00.
