Gather your family or friends for a private surf lesson tailored just for your group. Enjoy a personalized session at the perfect beginner beach, with all surfing equipment provided to ensure a seamless experience. Whether you're looking to boost your confidence, refine your skills, or simply start your surfing journey as a Newbie, this private group lesson is designed to be a memorable highlight for all participants. For younger surfers aged 5 to 9, special one-on-one lessons can be arranged alongside your group.

What's Included

We provide: new soft NSP surfboards, longsleeve rashguards and rubber booties for your feet.
Gratuities for your instructor are not included in the price of the lesson.
We do not supply: bathing suits, boardshorts or towels.

Meeting and pickup

Meeting point

Our meeting spot is Ukumehame, a beautiful stretch of beach on Maui's southwest side, off Hi-30 between mile markers 12 and 12.5. We’ll be parked in the sand 100 yards west of the paved Ukumehame Park parking lot. Text us after you book for a pin to our parking spot and pic of our car.

What to expect

Gather your friends and loved ones for a private surf lesson tailored for families at the stunning Ukumehame Beach, renowned for its gentle waves and breath taking scenery. Under the guidance of a skilled instructor, your group of 5 or more people will learn essential surfing techniques such as wave selection, crowd etiquette, reef awareness, paddling, popping up, a functional stance, smooth turning and sitting dismounts, all while enjoying a supportive and fun environment. All necessary surf gear is included, ensuring a seamless experience.

NOTE: If you have one or more family members aged 5 to 9 who would like to participate, this can be arranged. Children under age 10 will require the special attention provided by our one-on-one Private Lesson, which can run alongside your Family Lesson.
