Hosting in my home allows me to share not only recipes, but also the stories and hospitality.
I offer small-group, hands-on cooking classes hosted in my home kitchen.
I have years of personal experience cooking traditional Southwestern Spanish home-style dishes, especially green chile–based recipes. I have entered several chili cooking-off competitions and have won first-place awards and overall crowd favorite. My expertise comes from generations of family recipes and hands-on practice, family-style cooking, and hosting others in my home. I focus on practical techniques, safe food handling, and clear instruction so guests of all skill levels can confidently recreate the dish at home.
I have years of experience preparing traditional dishes, especially pork green chile.
My home is a comfortable, clean, and welcoming private residence with a well-equipped kitchen designed for small-group cooking. The kitchen has ample counter space, seating, and suitable for hands-on instruction.

What to expect

Step into a local Arizona home and experience the flavors and traditions of the Southwest in this intimate, hands-on pork green chile cooking class.
Led by your host, you’ll learn how to prepare Arizona-style pork green chile stew using roasted green chiles, tender pork, potatoes, and time-honored techniques passed down through regional cooking traditions. Along the way, you’ll learn why green chile is such an important part of Arizona and Sonoran cuisine — and how locals balance flavor, heat, and texture.
This is not a demonstration. Guests cook together in a relaxed home kitchen, asking questions, tasting as they go, and learning practical skills they can recreate at home.
Once the stew is finished simmering, you’ll sit down together to enjoy the finished meal
