What to expect

Traditionally, waste materials from factories and workshops are disposed of—incinerated, sent to landfills, or recycled—all at a cost. While this may be the best method in certain situations, Material Market has created a new system: one in which items that still hold potential are gathered for creative reuse.

Inside the cozy workshop and store, learn how materials from different production areas are given new lives instead of being disposed of. In an intimate, hands-on experience, transform the off-cuts of a wooden bowl into a small accessory dish - shaping the form with your own hands and finishing it with a specially formulated wax.
