Authentic Tortilla & Salsa Workshop From Corn to Quesadilla

Immerse yourself in the heart of Mexican cuisine with this hands-on culinary experience, where you’ll learn how to transform simple corn kernels into delicious handmade tortillas and traditional salsas.

What You’ll Experience

1. From Corn to Dough
Begin by learning the traditional process of turning corn kernels into fresh masa (corn paste), the foundation of authentic tortillas.

2. Make Your Own Tortillas
Once the dough is ready, each participant will shape and cook their own tortillas by hand, learning the proper techniques to achieve the perfect texture and flavor.

3. Traditional Cooking in Action
While you practice, one of our cooks will continue preparing extra tortillas and two seasonal vegetable fillings for quesadillas, ensuring everything is fresh and ready to enjoy.

4. Molcajete Salsa Workshop
Next, you’ll learn how to prepare two traditional Mexican salsas using a molcajete (stone mortar).

5. Tasting & Sharing
At the end of the workshop, sit down and enjoy freshly made quesadillas prepared with your handmade tortillas, homemade salsas, and vegetable fillings. Share the meal with your group and celebrate your culinary creations.
