This full-day Mt. Fuji Nature E-Bike Tour explores the quiet countryside on the Shizuoka side of Mt. Fuji, away from crowded tourist areas.
Using E-bikes, you ride rural roads and forest backroads rarely visited by tourists. Rather than rushing between landmarks, the tour allows time to experience Mt. Fuji’s natural environment and the slower rhythm of local life. Along the route, you step off the bike for short forest walks, lava cave exploration, and visits to waterfalls and spring areas at the foot of Mt. Fuji.
This private tour follows a safe core route, with flexibility based on guest interests and conditions. The experience focuses on quality rather than completing a fixed checklist.
As this is an outdoor experience, routes or travel methods may change due to weather or safety conditions. In severe weather, the tour may switch to vehicle-based travel or be canceled. If canceled due to weather, no cancellation fee will apply.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
The standard meeting point is either Fujinomiya Station or Shin Fuji Station.
For travelers visiting from the Tokyo area on a day trip, taking the Shinkansen is the most convenient option. Shin Fuji Station can be reached in about one hour from Tokyo Station.
For guests staying in Fujinomiya City or Fuji City, hotel pickup may be available upon request.
Your guide will be waiting for you at Shin-Fuji Station (Shinkansen), which will be the meeting point. After exiting the Shinkansen ticket gate, you will see your guide holding a sign with your name on it. There is only one ticket gate, so you won’t get lost.
What to expect
On e-bikes, you will explore rural roads, forests, and hidden local routes that most visitors never see. This is not a rush between famous spots. It is Mt. Fuji time, focused on fresh air and the rhythm of local life.
Along the way, you will experience Mt. Fuji’s volcanic landscape, including lava caves, natural springs, and waterfalls fed by pure groundwater.
This is a private tour, and rather than following a fixed itinerary, routes are chosen with safety and comfort as the priority. When possible, the experience is adjusted based on weather, group pace, and guest interests.
Unlike the crowded northern routes, this tour focuses on quiet backroads and local environments.
With advance coordination, the experience may include either a Japanese tea activity such as tea leaf picking or tasting, or a visit to a local craft beer brewery. These options require prior arrangement and may not be available for last-minute bookings.
