Staying with a nomad family is the best way to truly discover centuries-old traditions.
Your journey continues to Khustai National Park, a protected conservation area famous for the successful reintroduction of the rare Przewalski’s wild horses. With wide landscapes, rich culture, and genuine human connections, this experience offers more than sightseeing—it’s a true immersion into Mongolia’s timeless nomadic heritage.
We’re happy to pick you up at any location you prefer.
Spend a day with a nomad family, immersing yourself in their nomadic way of life. Connect with your hosts, spend time with their herds, and help prepare traditional Mongolian foods. You’ll have the opportunity to enjoy horseback riding for up to an hour.
After enjoying a traditional breakfast, you’ll travel to Khustai National Park, a protected conservation area established in 1992 to reintroduce and preserve Przewalski’s horses, the world’s only remaining species of truly wild horse. As these horses roam freely across the protected area in their natural habitat, sightings may take time and cannot be guaranteed, but the park offers guidance and an unique opportunity to learn about their conservation and Mongolia’s wildlife.
After exploring Khustai National Park and hopefully spotting the Przewalski’s horses, we’ll return to Ulaanbaatar and drop you off at your hotel.
