Paths lined with bamboo and pavilions offer a quiet contrast to downtown’s chaos—a perfect spot to breathe, sip tea, and watch the mountain city unfold beneath you.

4Crown Escalator
Built in 1996, the Crown Escalator is 112 meters long with a vertical rise of about 52 meters. Slowly moving through the enclosed passage, it reveals Chongqing not at once, but layer by layer.

6Hongya Cave
Diamond Plaza for Hongya cave nightview No trip to Chongqing is complete without a stop at Hongya Cave. At night, the wooden stilt houses light up like a glowing fairytale castle on the riverside. It’s the most photographed landmark in the city, perfect for your postcard-worthy shots.
