    Travel through the scenic Malangen fjord region, known for its dramatic Arctic landscapes, fjords, mountains and coastal villages. The journey takes you from Tromsø across Kvaløya and through the Rya Tunnel to the Malangen peninsula, passing small settlements along the fjord with beautiful photo opportunities along the way. Upon arrival in Malangen, guests spend the evening in a quiet Arctic setting with minimal light pollution — ideal conditions for Northern Lights viewing. Here you will enjoy a warm Arctic dinner and guided activities while waiting for the Aurora to appear over the fjord and surrounding mountains.

    Finnvikhaugen Rooms is a cozy Arctic venue located by the Malangen fjord, surrounded by mountains and open nature. This is where guests spend the main part of the evening, enjoying a warm Arctic dinner and guided activities in a peaceful setting far from city lights. With minimal light pollution and open views toward the fjord and sky, Finnvikhaugen offers excellent conditions for Northern Lights viewing. Guests can relax indoors or step outside to watch the Aurora when it appears.
