Pick-up takes place from hotels, Airbnb accommodation or any other location indicated by travelers, provided it is within the established pick-up area.
Areas covered include, but are not limited to: Roma Norte, Roma Sur, Condesa, Polanco, Centro Historico and Paseo de la Reforma.
The exact pick-up time will be confirmed one day before the tour, according to the location.
If the indicated location is outside the pickup area, travelers have two options.
* Go to a previously indicated meeting point within the collection area
*Request out-of-area pickup at an additional cost, subject to availability and prior confirmation
Travelers will be picked up from their hotel, Airbnb accommodation or other location within the established pick-up zone in Mexico City. Afterwards, they will be transferred by comfortable and safe transport to the hot air balloon area in Teotihuacan, where the flight experience will begin. The exact pick-up time will be confirmed one day prior to the tour, according to location and traffic conditions.
Travelers will arrive at the hot air balloon area in San Martín de las Pirámides, where they will be greeted with a coffee break, while watching the balloon inflation. Before takeoff, the equipment provides a brief explanation of safety. Afterwards, travelers will take a hot air balloon flight lasting approximately 45 minutes, depending on the wind conditions, enjoying panoramic views of the Teotihuacan Pyramids and its surroundings. At the end of the flight, a glass of sparkling wine is offered. Finally, travelers receive their flight certificate as a souvenir of the experience.
After the hot air balloon flight, travelers will enjoy a buffet breakfast in a local restaurant. The buffet includes a variety of typical Mexican dishes, such as traditional stews, eggs prepared to taste, chilaquiles, beans, sweet bread, as well as coffee, juices and hot drinks. This moment allows travelers to relax, recharge and share the flight experience, enjoying local cuisine in a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere.
Travelers will visit a cooperative of local artisans, where they will know the traditional process of making obsidian pieces and products derived from maguey. During the visit, they will participate in a demonstration workshop, explaining the historical use of obsidian in pre-Hispanic culture, as well as the importance of maguey in the region. The experience includes a tasting of traditional drinks, allowing travelers to know typical flavors of the area and directly support local artisans.
Travelers will take a tour of the Teotihuacan Archaeological Zone, where they can admire the Pyramid of the Sun, the Pyramid of the Moon and the Causeway of the Dead. During the visit, you will have time to walk, take pictures and learn about the magnitude and history of one of the most important pre-Hispanic cities in Mexico. Admission to the archaeological site is not included and is payable directly on site, at an approximate cost of $100 MXN per person.
Travelers will visit the Basilica of Guadalupe, one of the most important shrines in the world. During the visit, you will have approximately one hour to tour the modern Basilica, the Old Basilica and the Esplanade, as well as to know its cultural and religious importance. The tour will be guided, providing relevant and contextual information throughout the visit.
At this point the tour concludes. From the Basilica of Guadalupe, travelers will be transferred back to Mexico City. The transfer will take place until the previously agreed end point, either your home, hotel or the Angel of Independence, and thus conclude the experience.
