What's Included
Meeting and pickup
We can pick up our customers from any location within 1 km. Customers will be sent all the necessary information 12 hours in advance to confirm their pick-up details and they will be picked up from the most convenient point in that region.
What to expect
The experience begins in a traditional carpet workshop. Masters will greet you and first explain the history of Azerbaijani carpets, the meaning of the patterns, and the techniques used. You will discover that every motif has a story, every stitch has a meaning.
Then it's your turn. Under the guidance of the masters, you begin weaving a carpet. You learn how to cast on stitches, choose colors, and watch the carpet slowly take shape. This process is both educational and very enjoyable. You will only cast on a few stitches.
At the end of the workshop:
You will receive a mini carpet as a souvenir.
This experience adds a meaningful and lasting memory to your trip to Baku. You return not just with a tour, but with a cultural souvenir.
ATTENTION!
It is not possible to weave a complete rug in this tour. A rug takes approximately 6 months to make. Only the rug-making technique will be demonstrated. Please take this into consideration.
