Visit Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca. Drive to Rabat, Morocco’s capital: see Royal Palace, Kasbah of the Udayas, and Hassan Tower. Continue to Chefchaouen, the famous blue city in the Rif Mountains.
Explore Chefchaouen medina, local markets, and traditional streets. Drive to Fes, Morocco’s spiritual and cultural capital.
Guided tour of Fes el-Bali, including Al Karaouine University, tanneries, medina souks, and medieval architecture. Optional visit to a traditional pottery or leather workshop.
Drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in Ifrane (“Little Switzerland”) and Midelt. Arrive in Merzouga, gateway to the Sahara Desert. Camel ride into the dunes and overnight in a Sahara desert camp under the stars.
