We wait for you at the Casa-Hacienda Los Torres, you will find a wooden sign with the name of the hacienda.

What to expect

You will walk through its reeds and fruit trees to learn the secrets of growing and harvesting sugar cane. Then we will teach you to grind the cane in the trapiche and get the juice, which here is known as "guarapo" and you will taste the cane honey. We will explain the fermentation process of the guaapo and the distillation process with firewood that we use. You will visit the magical oak barrel cava where the magic happens that allows the spirit to transform into rum. Finally, hand in hand with the master rum, you will learn to taste aguardiente, rums, mistelas that you can enjoy with a traditional piqueeo of the area.
