Dead Horse Point State Park provides the outstanding views of Canyonlands at a much more accessible rate and skill level. Take both paved and unpaved trails to stunning overlooks of the canyons and Moab desert.

You'll see the meandering Colorado River below you and the deep canyons carved from it, stunning cerulean potash evaporation pools, and three distinct mountain ranges looming in the distance; the La Sals, the Abajos, and the Henrys.

    Look out into the deep canyons of Canyonlands National Park from above from the historic area once used by cowboys that gave this area its name. Enjoy the scenic drive and short walks, or explore the spur trails to a number of stunning overlooks of three different mountain ranges, the Colorado River, and the striking potash evaporation pools.
