Travel across classic Falklands countryside, passing wide-open landscapes, rolling peatlands, and stunning coastal views before arriving at the sweeping white sands of Bertha’s Beach. The area is home to a large Gentoo penguin colony, often seen moving between the beach and the sea, alongside other wildlife such as upland and kelp geese, crested ducks, and a variety of seabirds. Visitors may also spot Commerson’s dolphins offshore, seals resting along the shoreline, and occasionally even King penguins.
