Looking for something truly special to enhance your Santa Fe trip? This is it. You'll embark on a fascinating exploration of the healing and magical powers of the native plants of New Mexico. Your host Jake takes you on a one-of-a-kind immersive discovery of plants, tapping into your senses to develop a new understanding of your relationship to nature’s most remarkable allies. Blending education, meditation, and hands-on creation (and fun!), your journey begins with a brief talk on plant identification and properties. Then, a guided meditation will connect you to the energy of the plants, opening pathways to insight and renewal. The experience ends with a crafting session, where you'll create a personalized herbal item such as a tea, salve, spray, or oil, using the plants you’ve come to know through your senses. This keepsake serves as a vessel for the wisdom gained, allowing you to carry the plants’ healing energy as you return to your daily life.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
We meet at my home/work studio. It is approximately an 8-minutes drive from Santa Fe Plaza. You'll be greeted by a gate manager who will direct you to the studio, where I will welcome you.
What to expect
1. Welcome and Create a Sacred Space: You'll settle in and learn how creating a special place sets the foundation for healing and transformation.
2. Plant Connection Through The Senses: Using all of your senses, Jake will guide you to a deeper knowing of plants than you'd ever imagined. It'll change your connection to plants forever.
3. Guided Plant Spirit Meditation: Jake will lead you through a powerful meditation/visualization to meet the spirit of the plant you've been sensing. Get ready for an amazing journey!
4. Craft Two Keepsakes: You'll create a personal sachet and essential oil blend, infused with the intentions you set in your plant journey. Carry your insights home.
5. Discussion and Q and A: With a deeper understanding of plants unlocked, you'll have questions about how you can bring these practices home with you to benefit from them.
